For Sale Matched TOS: K170/J74

Things you have for sale.
I doubt about your “genuine “ J74.
I have a near full box of J74GR also with silk-screen lettering. Check out how the “7” looks.
You’d better do some more research.

Box full or 10 box full doesn’t change anything, search this website and draw your own conclusions. Members have been warned at least.

Enough said.

Nothing can change your belief anyway.

Take a look at this post.
for fun, I broke up a J74. Here’s the pic.

I've been a DIY hobbyist for 50 years since my school days and all of these JFETs I have were acquired when they were still in production. At that time, there were no fakes on the market as they are now, and there was no e-Bay or Ali.
Here are some pics of what I own. These are all genuine Toshiba products. (Confirmed by measuring gm and noise)

4 on top left. The old print production has a straight 7 character.

4 on the top right.
The new laser-engraved production has the letter 7 curved.

2 on the bottom left K170 from the old print on is also a straight line.

4 on lower right the printing of K147 /J72 produced at that time are also straight.

I stumbled across this thread today and am the first member to know prakit, so I have no affiliation with him.

All I can guarantee is that some of the J74 characters printed by genuine Toshiba are straight, and I do not guarantee the authenticity of what prakit sells.(probably real, I think)

When it comes to these Toshiba parts, we have a lot of people walking around magnifying glasses around here. Which is a good thing and well warranted considering the market. If Prakit were selling fake anything, there is no way he could have been selling these parts for so long and still hold such a good reputation.
