Hey guys, here for sale is a pair of basically brand new Alpair 12P speakers in planet 10 classic golden ratio boxes. I built these a few months ago to go along with my single ended 45 tube amplifier. They’re extremely efficient, and are a perfect match for tube amps.
I have decided to build a different pair of speakers, much larger so these are for sale. They have about 3 to 5 hours of playing time, so they are not even broken in yet. The boxes are made of B/BB waterproof, Baltic birch plywood, 18 mm thick and braced according to the drawing for the planet 10 CGR box. They have a somewhat glossy hammertone finish, in black.
€450 for the speakers., If you just want the drivers that would be a shame, but I could do those for €220. As I said, they are basically brand new and I have the original boxes still, these were bought from sound imports in January I believe for around €310.
