A 55 is the first generation of 2sk82/2sj28 Vfets. Originally designed for analog application.Rank is 55. they are single die devices as per my knowledge. Later versions are optimized for switching amplifier application like Sony TA-N 88. Rank is 33 and are dual die version.
2sk63 don't have any complementary devices as per my knowledge. 2sk63 and 2sk79 are same product in different packages. one is in metal can and other one in plastic moulded.
Only few pairs for sale .How many you need? They are not matched but same grade devices. Matching requires only if, you connect them in parallel. If you are specific about matching I can do that but may take time.

The 63 is 220mw while the 79 is higher by two or three. I got from you two pairs of matched 79 some time ago.

No, K63 is 470mW while K79 is 750mW. Possibly due to difference in junction to ambient thermal resistance: 200 vs 126 C/W.

The K63 possibly only has the base side of the die contact the metal base. For the K79, the base of the die sit on the source pin (metal), and the top contact with the epoxy. So while the epoxy conduct heat less than efficient than metal, the K79 manages to outdone K63 in heat transfer efficiency despite less metal is used.
