Does everybody have those annoying black rings from fresnels projected on the screen? I've seen some threads on this, but very few people participated in those dicussions... So do all fresnels have this bug or only the bad ones? if I do a split fresnel design, will those rings disappear?
I have read about people being able to see the rings from fresnels before and the solution was to move them further from the LCD. Worth a shot at least.

yeah, you just have to move then further away from the lcd and focus on the lcd. The rings you see is the lens focusing partially on the fresnel
i dont know if just moving it will help all that much.
it sounds like you are using a split fresnel design.
to not get the lines they fresnels have to be perfectly aligned.
thats why may people put 2 fresnels before the lcd
