New 2 years ago maybe. Their first album was decent, this year's one wasnt very good imo.

Personally I think Franz is a bit too popish for me, but if you like Franz Ferdinand perhaps you would enjoy the following bands:

The Walk away is very popular here in Sweden. I like the video

The Monkey's were just announced as the (probably) best rock group of 2006, by the danish "underground" magazine Gaffa. Better take a listen to those guys🙂
