My Cyrus 3 has let the last of the magic smoke out, and cost of repairs is going to be way too high compared to buying a new one.
Rather than dump it I thought I would see what I can do with the chassis. The transformer outputs 43v and is still perfect even after nearly 25 years.
I'd like to go to a pair of independent mono amps in the path, and plan to make a new front and rear panel. Are there any recommended "kits" I can use that have the amp(s), input/output and volume/control on 3 separate boards with ribbon cables? The only ones I can find are all-in-one.
