Hello,
I want to build some new loudpeakers with the Fostex FE206en. They should be easiliy to build.
So I came across the 206 recommended and the BK208 chassis. Which one would you prefer and are some other enclosure plans out there which can be made as easily as the mentioned ones and get better results in music reproduction?
Many thanks,

As far as I am aware, the 'BK 208' is actually Fostex's Factory design for the FE208ESigma:

Of the two boxes, I would be inclined toward the 208 cabinet; it should produce somewhat more gain & a better balanced response than the 206 box -I've never liked the stock E / En (they didn't change them when the new drivers were released) designs all that much. LF gain isn't much to write home about with them, & there's an unpleasantly deep notch at F3 that's a bit of a pain to fix.

Renton76,
If you do not object to tall enclosures and have the space, you can take a look at Scott's designs for the FE206En like the Kirishima. Then he has a design called the Vulcan.
The FE208E Sigma cabinet that Scott has linked above is a good one for the FE206En, but lot of pieces to put together. Probably the taller Kirishima or Vulcan would be a simpler build and possibly require less ply.

Side Vivace that is an adaption of the Schmacks horn or the Big Fun horn if you have the space and the desire to get bass below 50-60 Hz.
