I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find some plans for a BR. I've heard mixed things about the fostex recommended specs.
Well, the published driver specs. for the En units are supposed to be more accurate than those for the old units. That said, because they are presumably averages, they don't entirely agree, e.g. Vas on the 103 based on the other figures on the sheet should be about 1/2 litre lower than stated.
Anyway, adjusting for that, there are plenty of options. T/S maximally flat is 2.7 litres tuned to 100.6Hz. Keele's alternative alignment = 3.26 litres tuned to 91Hz. And if you have an amplifier with a high output impedance, a Vb = Vas, Fb = Fs alignment should do a decent job. They're not going to have a massive dynamic BW, but for what they are, they should be OK.

Ah ok, thanks for the info! I have one more question, regarding port area. WinISD recommends a 4in/10cm port, which seems a little large, would a 2in/5cm port be adequate?
Would this work?
Solo103
A bit droopy for my taste, but you see alot of alignments like this.

It refers to the shape of the roll-off at the bottom. Mid-bass = 40-80 Hz. There is a decided lack.
