Ok, thanks.
I tried cleaning cache, no effect. Tried two different computers with IE, no effect. Firefox finally solved the problem!
I am aware of the problem. Haven't been able to track it down totally yet but I know it only occurs intermittently with a particular version/s of MSIE.
I have had the same experience
- but last time was a month ago...
Win XP, MSIE v. 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

Thanks. If i can get MSIE version numbers each time it happens I've got a semi decent chance to working out what is going on. That said, in 6 months it won't matter since we will be running on a completely different software platform.
Anyone that mentions phpBB around me is asking to be shot. No more details will be forthcoming until after it is done.
....you mean my being shot 😀AudioFreak said:Anyone that mentions phpBB around me is asking to be shot. No more details will be forthcoming until after it is done.
I use phpBB but I have no technical insight of the software. I miss lot's of features but some can be added with add-ons... but it's free

Sorry to threadjack but I cannot post new topics.
I just registered today and I realize the moderation thing.
However when I try to post a new topic it tells me to search first. And I have! I have searched like 12 times or so. I have tried both with IE and Firefox, I tried deleting my cookies and clearing cache, I tried setting the site not to use cookies. I have no idea what to do. I registered here because your car audio forum seems to be knowledge central for amp repair and I have a dead amp!!!
Can some one point me in the right direction to get this fixed? OR am I stuck as a reply only poster?

I know this sounds simple but after you searched did you then click the "have you searched" button in the upper left corner?
