Dave Taylor worked on the Fluke 8020, 8040 and I think 8060 meters plus a variety of other kit from that era. Not sure if this is the right forum but I think so. This is from the EEVBlog site, where he is a member under the name drtaylor. This should be a very interesting AmpHour show.

Dave Taylor worked on the early Fluke DMMs and we think that's pretty cool. We're going to ask him about it on the show. Please leave questions you have for him here or on our subreddit: This week on the show: Dave Taylor, designer of the Fluke 8060 DMM (and more!) : TheAmpHour

I have got two mains powered ones. Both are 8800s.
One is fixed and working fine. The other has odd timing pulses coming out of the processor chip and will need to pay another visit to the vintage test gear bench where nice valve amps sometimes get restored.
They date from the 1970s.
