Could any one help me how I can find a strong simple FM reciever to make as a project?
Thank you in advance

I assume you mean "tuner" as "reciever" these days mean an integrated amp plus tuner.
Anyway, I fear you you may be dissapointed. An FM tuner is beyond most DIYer's, or at least beyonf their gear. There is a Phillips "tuner on a chip" I've heard about but I've no idea if it available to other than OEM's.
You might check http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/DIY.html which discusses upgrades to classic tuners.
Or this thread http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/show...&perpage=15&highlight="FM+tuner"&pagenumber=1
Or www.arrl.org for general RF info.
If you ever build a diy FM tuner be sure to post the details here -- it's been long sought but with minimal success.
