I need to flip the image on my projector, as right now, text is backwards. I can use the nvidia keystone software, but that eats up my cpu, so that won't suffice. I could flip my panel, but then the AG layer would be facing the light, not to mention the fact that I'd have to rearrange my box. I could also use a fs mirror, but I'd rather not spend the money (hey, I'm cheap 🙂).
What I am wondering is this: is there a way to switch the pins on a vga cable in order to flip an image's horizontal definition? Just a thought.
The second thing is, would having the AG layer face the light degrade the picture, improve it, or do nothing?

I have read that the anti-glare layer only reduces the light transmission by about less than one percent.
Thanks, although what I was thinking was more about the diffussion done by the antiglare layer, and if it mattered which side it was on, but your post helped to dissuade me from removing the layer. 🙂
