Hi, I gather this is somewhat controversial and I understand why, but I'm a big fan of the horizontal finned heatsinks of the original First Watt Aleph J. The First Watt chassis looks a lot to me like a 3U Modushop Dissipante but with those cool horizonal fins. It looks lower profile/less blocky than a 4U, which is part of the look I'm after. I didn't see anything on Modushop's website that resembled it though. Does anyone know if a similar chassis can be gotten? I'm thinking of building an Aleph J in case it's not obvious. 🙂
Papa mentioned it's a custom extrusion: https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pass-labs/86909-volksamp-firstwatt-heatsinks.html#post1010838
There are imitation Pass heatsinks for sale on Aliexpress. Finding or building a chassis to fit them could be a challenge depending on budget and/or skill set.
And iirc the cost of carriage + import taxes far exceeds the otherwise reasonable price.
A shame as they look both elegant and efficient.

if you want to make a clone, PL chassis is the one which is bigger than FW, you'll have more headroom to build bigger class A
