Hi,
Finlux are selling 55" HDTVs @ way below competitors prices.
Amazon and Finlux direct show models from £750.
Finlux 55 Inch LED TV, HD 1080p, 100Hz, PVR & Freeview HD (55S6040-T) at Finlux Direct
55 Inch Smart LED TV from Finlux, Full HD, 100Hz: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
What is missing or wrong or substandard with these Finlux TVs?
I don't want 3D
I do need DVB (Freeview in the UK) with HD.
It would be nice to have opt Dolby Digital out to send to the 5.1 receiver.

Sent it back. The "Smart TV" version does not tune in Freeview HD.
The cheaper model that is not internet connected, does do Freeview HD.
The Technician that talked me through the single channel re-tune eventually gave up and had to confirm that the HD capable tuner inside the set had been software disabled so that it would only tune in SD broadcasts.
