Hi there,

First of all thank you Nelson Pass.
2x Mono F5, 300v Antek toroid, 4x10.000uf, Tech-diy components, Peter Daniel PCB, Heatsink from HeatsinkUSA.

About 10hrs listening to the amplifiers. I am play with Scan-Speak Revelator speakers 2-way 89db and a B1 preamp with 2n3819 (30volt). My previous amp was a TA2024 and listening to the F5 gives clearly a improvement. The only thing i don't get around yet, is that its sounds a little leaner then the TA2024. Not sure if that's the way it should sound or the TA2024 just sounds to rich.

See pics below.

Most comments seem to suggest the F5 is lean in the bass regions, this of course will enhance the mid/high when listening ...

nice build, love the heatsinks, but i tell you what, thats some of the nicest looking wood cabinets ive seen, very very nice indeed!!

one thing i feel needs saying, there are so many f5 threads popping up to show off the build, is there not another venue for this?

There is a query by PM about the data input.

The heat sink types are all listed, so are the lengths for each case..
Ambient temperature is 25°C for all cases.
All natural convection, blank heat sinks with no anodising.

Each "red spot" represents a MOSFET 20x26mm (2SK1530, etc.) dissipating 32W each.
The MOSFET positions you can scale roughly from the plot and the given heat sink dimensions.

That's all. But close enough to reality.

Dig the speakers! I think I saw something like them in an issue of Elektor dedicated to speakers. For some reason, the name Flanders comes to mind, but I could be wrong.

Very nice F5 too!
