Fig 8 plug

I'm doing a few DIY mains cable's but can't seem to find a fig8 plug without chopping one off a current cable.

Can you buy a decent quality stand alone plug anywhere?

Googling 'fig 8 mains connector' found lots of cables, and some adaptors, but no loose connectors. I suspect this is because they are too small to have room for a screw connection or a screw closure, hence have to be factory-made.

I think you will just have to buy a ready-made one.
