Hi there,
Has anyone serviced the FR64s cueing cylinder? Mine just drops. Its either leaked oil or has dried grease I assume.
There seems no good way to get into it. There is a plastic slug on the bottom that looks like it is press fit in... likely will break with my luck if I try to get it out to inspect.
If anyone can offer advice I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Hi, I have given service to a lifting or cueing device that you are asking about. I was advised from someone in Japan that it was difficult to do but it turned out to be very easy, I used a needle to loosen the plastic cap on the underside, then I lifted the cueing part on the lift and turned and pulled it out of its place. Cleaned with paper tissui added new damping grease assembled the lift, then I put it back into place. It has been working since then.
