I have got a OHP from ebay and taken my monitor apart but due to the way its built I need to extend the FFC cable in order to lay it down flat.
All search's lead to american sites, im wondering if anyone knows of any UK shops or sites that sell FFC extensions.
Until I get the extension im having to use the screen from a goodmans portable dvd player, its a very poor screen, but i can watch cartoons on a 6ft screen (well just my wall atm) and they look ok, films dont look good atall due to the low quality of the lcd

Both RS electronics and Farnell stock them, the only downside is that you'll probably need to buy a pack of 10 but they're only a couple of quid even for this number - at least you have a few spares then too!
It might be worth checking Maplin if you have a store locally, I've never seen them in there but there's always the chance that you'll get lucky.
