Would the admins be willing to consider installing Tapatalk (Tapatalk - iPhone Android Nokia forum app for vBulletin and phpBB) for mobile device support? It's a very nice interface for interacting with fora via mobile devices. I'm sure others would be interested in this feature as well, and it's very simple to install.
Hello Jason,
Just stopping in to second the request for putting DIYAudio in the Tapatalk universe. Have you had a chance to give the client software a try?
Regards, and thanks for the site, and no affiliations.

Wow, that is great news. Thanks again.
I'm already a paid member, but I'd like to make a further contribution... any recommendations?

Starting using tapatalk on my iPhone. Holy &@$$& it is way better than using the web interface on the computer. Unbelievable !!!
Hi, is there any way to disable the tapatalk detection from the forum's side? Every time I load a page from my phone's browser I get that spam-like notification that diyaudio is tapatalk native. I have tried tapatalk and I very much despise it. I like the web interface and am annoyed by the repeated notifications.
So again, any way to turn the notification/detection off from your side?

Thanks really interesting, I would have thought you'd only get one tapatalk notification and that would be it. I'll see what can be done about it.
Thank you for your effort.
I believe the constant prompting would go away if I permanently stored cookies in the phone's browser, but that's not something that what I want to do or be forced to do to end this constant annoyance.
The way I see it (and this is my personal view and understanding) tapatalk provides a plugin for the forum, free of charge and payment, for both sides. But they make constant advertising for their product by again and again promting everyone to use tapatalk. The free version of tapatalk has ads and the ad-free pro version is a paid app.
This whole thing really makes me go 😡

No, I'm not.
In the meantime I have found a workaround for firefox mobile: There's an add-on named "Phony" which impersonates other browsers (something with spoofing useragent headers, I don' know). By setting the appearance to "firefox desktop" the tapatalk spamming goes away since the browser presents itself as a desktop version. But this certainly doesn't work for Opera or the phone's native browser. There I still get these annoying spam like promts...
