ty 4 the info amptech.i havent any photos as of yet .but it powers up fine.it has the old silver face,as vintage electronics does.the only photo ive seen is, of a similar unit...the power pro-120.with handles on the front ,but not this one.i cant find anything on this unit??? are they obsolete?it weighs approx.30-40lbs.ill try to get a pic .ty

Obsolete? Well, I am sure it is not made in the latest manner, but whatever it did when new, it can be doing now. And if that was putting out 120 watts into a speaker, it will do it. For one little amplifier like that overall efficiency is probably not an issue. For example if this thing needs 250 watts from the wall to make 120 watts output, some new design might only need 180 watts. But for the small user that probably doesn;t matter. SO I guess it depends on what you mean by obsolete.

SOme features may have changed. Really old PA amplifiers had screw on microphone connectors, which newer ones wouldn't have. Old ones often had inputs for phono cartridge, which modern ones would not have. But things like that are details.

It would still be able to sit there and play music into your little retail store or restaurant, and a microphone would still be able to announce "Bus now leaving at gate four." Just as it was intended long ago. It shouldn;t sound terrible, but it won;t be really hifi either.
