Since when can you find original components on aliexpress?
It is surprising to know that some people believe this.

You'll find a lot of original components on aliX. Just don't ask where they come from and how they where handled before.
Never brought from alieexpress and never will in these times of rife fakes and rippoffs. Use mouser or digikey. Stop wasting your money to save a dollar.
I like allieexpress for what it is and not for what it's not . I'm always amazed at people willing to spend $100 on glorified hamburger in a fancy restaurant to post it immediately on the Facebook and expecting to pay the same amount of money on world beating amp.
I got perfectly fine PCM58, TDA1540, CS4328, DF1706, YSF210B etc. etc. from AliX. Now tell me how these could not be original.
There are certain parts you'll nowhere else on this world get as a normal person.

Most electrolytic caps on ali looks like they just sleeve a skin on generic shitty cap. in chinese diy forum, they use lots of fancy brand parts from ali, most people don't have means to measure it, so it looks great must be good. diy for the eyes and vanity, not for measurement or ear.
but with active part like op, fake one will cause more trouble in measuring than worth it.

You are lucky or you know the Chinese seller well. Maybe you are friends with him and visit each other in the summer.I got perfectly fine PCM58, TDA1540, CS4328, DF1706, YSF210B etc. etc
🤣 🤣🤣🤣
And before AliX it was as soon as you mention Ebay oh oh everything is fake.
When with common sense could find guys with real parts they have had for 20 or 30 years in their collection.
In production obviously Mouser Digikey makes sense. Actually there is more. Some businesses been around for long time.
The adds make sense, and I have had direct contact phone calls with Ebay sellers.
Typically many older gentleman in their 70's and 80's which have real items in their collections.
So qualifying a seller isn't hard.
I wont indulge to much in capacitor magic. Datasheets should specify storage time, hour life and temp rating.
What do you think is the difference between a 2000 Hr capacitor or a 10,000 Hr
Its almost like low odor mineral spirits, or " electronics grade" products which contain 75% mineral spirits.
If the product name or fancy label is what it takes. It is kind of the point of a seller to make you feel your buying something " specific"
When it is made from everyday products with a pretty label.
My favorite is 500 or 1000 watt crossover components used for 100 watt or less systems. But hey they are really really big and expensive they must be good lol. Guys repeat the same myths so it must be true.

You can get a lot of good parts from TaoBao. Large Nichicon caps branded as Onkyo were one of my latest finds - they are obviously overstock, 2-3 years old, but dirt cheap (about 1/10th of what Nichicon charges for similar caps). Only downside is the storage/transport - they don't arive "brand new" but may have a scratch or little dent. All 16 I purchased measured out fine, nothing to complain. You can as well source other brands - still need to be careful whom you are buying from, checking the feedback is mandatory, and buying from large sellers only (they don't want to destroy their reputation).
So basically you end up trading away your time spent finding the usable parts within the bin for the few bucks saved. I don't understand that logic, but it's your time and not mine.
I find it harder and harder to find genuine products on ePay, AliBlahBlah, Bezos' Bookstore, etc. That goes for just about anything. I go through Mouser, Digikey, et al. for electronic parts. It saves me time and money in the long run.

maybe LCSC is better choice comparing to taobao? at least it has datasheet and part number. and have far less complain about counterfeit.
TI will ship LM3886 to anyone willing to give them money. They charge a flat fee for shipping. If you don't want to deal with a distributor, why not go directly to the manufacturer?

LCSC is IMHO 100% trustworthy, they don't sell fake components (like in "ever")
However their product catalog is limited compared to Mouser/Digikey - but they also stock chinese parts (which are impossible to find in US/EU distributors).
The "saves me time and money" argument is moot, since I'm DIYing just for my own pleasure. Halfing parts costs just means twice the parts (aka twice the fun), combined with quite some time to receive them (I don't care about the waiting time) and a risk of receiving fakes or damaged parts. Certainly nothing I would rely on from a business point of view, and certainly not how I would run a business.
When I'm impatient, or there a difficult to source parts, I too order from various distributor.
