why not
certainly - you can mount additional xover cell in separate box, saving F4 intact , for more flexibility
PSU can be trivial , or more elaborate , your call

Heyho,
I'm thinking about a F4 with an highpass using the existing frontbuffer in the f4. (saving jfets🙂). Any thoughts or opinions?
Best regards
Miep
Read the F4 manual.
Papa already did it.
Xover + F4 was my fist thought. But more Jfets are used, and if there just some as a buffer in front of the f4, why not using them for both function...i'm working on a 3way active loudspeaker and hope, i can leave out the (bad😛) dsp...
@pico, i've read the maunal, but there is a blockdiagram for crossovers, not the actual schematic.

thank you for this info, but that's not my target. i dont want to use an voltage gain device with an crossover between f4 and the fleawatt. just the minimum of parts and complexity. the problem is the space in a amp case. a aleph5+2xf4+2x psu+filter in one case is a problem. more cases would make more (and bigger) problems with my wife. the sacrifices i had to make because of ls still hurts...
who said anything about fleawatt.
Just saying your idea (and mine from 5 years back) has been done.
Papa has provided some suggested crossover ideas for f4.
Build your's as you deem appropriate
