If building the "F4" and using the Universal PSU, Capacitor and Diode Combination Board, what would be the ideal VA rating for the transformer ? and also does anyone know of a good 15000uf 25v psu capacitor to use ? 😱 thank-you

How about a 400VA with 2 x 18v secondaries ?
That's more than 250VA so I'm sure it will work.
F4 BOM !
Could someone please convert this to a pdf type file > http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/image...4-1V20-bom.xls Thank-you !

I think the BOM is missing the caps. Or I'm missing something....
Yes indeed. I'll get that one for you in a bit.
Thank you for pointing it out. 🙂
All pics missing
Tragedy...all pics are missing from the visual guide...
6L6, any way you could reload those pics for new joiners...or maybe anyone of you holds a pdf extract of the guide...All help appreciated

They appear fine for me. (I did note that the link was highlighted as "followed" already, so perhaps my machine has them all cached?)

Aw...any chance you could convert web page to pdf and share, will be a great help
Most of the build guide is on the first page, so I just generated a PDF of that. But it's still 28M, and the forum said "no dice".

Hurray.... there is light...thanks Jeff, the link works just fine
Enough?
Hello- New to site and I'm curious if the F4 would fit my setup...many of the numbers concerning the ins and outs of the amplifier confuse the heck out of me, so I'm hoping you might have some guidance.
From what I understand, the F4 does not have gain, so I would be relying on my preamplifier's gain. If that is correct, would a Schiit Freya (the original version with passive and tube gain) Schiit Audio, Headphone amps and DACs made in USA., be enough to make for a good listen with my Spatial M4 Turbo S (not the triode version) M4 — Spatial Audio Lab.
My listening space is on the bigger side but I listen at levels around 55-80 db.
Thank you,
Nick
