I managed to port my subwoofer box for my 12 inch subwoofer down to 14hz!
and it also hits really hard between 23hz and 47hz!
the box is huge
34 inches wide can't measure exactly because my tape measure is messed up
12 inches deep
and 14 inches high
the port is 3 inches wide and 8 and 1/5 inches deep into the box
and it's position is facing front on the left front area of the box
and the subwoofer is on the right of the box
it is really odd for box dimensions but it really hits loud and low!
the subwoofer isn't getting full power though. when i hook up my amplifier to it
oh man will it really hit loud and low!
the box is about 2/3 inch thick.
the port is actually a pringles can with the bottom cut out believe it or not!! 😀

hahaha ... used the same trick as yours ... pringles can as subwoofer port ... but anyway ... be sure to make a flare on the MDF (the side u are mounting the port) for the port exit ...
