I have noticed as I have been a part of DIYAudio member, almost entirely for the video section that some order needs to be brought to the video section. The DIY video projection board has become extremely popular, but this has resulted in a tremendous amount of topics, often leaving readers, myself included with tying to find information a specific issue only to be bombarded with unrelated topics. I feel that the ‘video’ section should be grouped into more sub-topics that allows for more order to be brought to the discussion of diy video projectors. I put together a sample idea of how I feel that the threads should be organized. I have talked to other members, and they also feel that a more orderly system on this board would be desired. By instituting more sub topics, it will allow individuals to focus in on the information they are seeking and provided a clearer, easier to understand group for first-time browsers.

a.Small Panels (<3 inches)
b.Medium Panels (3-7 inches)
c.Overhead Projection Panels
d.Computer panels
e.High End/Other images souces.
II. Optics/Projection systems
a.Overhead Projectors

About 6 months ago that idea was tried. There were many of the sub sections you mentioned but it did not seem to work. People posted a couple of times and then the threads died.
It seems people like to be in one big room.
