Exciting day

I am awaiting the postman to bring me my new TVCs for my 300B/D3a SET amp. Autoformers from Dave Slagle. Also a new pair of caps for my power supply and this book. See attached.
I fixed my amp this last week after 6 weeks of pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Turns out it was a bad PCB. I drew up new ones and had them made and it worked first time I wired it up. And was dead silent.
Also put a new pair of Duelend Cast copper PIO coupling caps in it last week also. So the volume control is about the last thing left to finish it off.
Can't wait..

So tells us about the book. Looks like a multi-volume that costs hundreds of dollars. Who is the author? What new and novel revelations are in those books?

I only bought the third one because it it all designs. It hasn't arrived yet. I will give a review when it does. I am looking for another project. I think though I am going to build a hybrid. Probably the 2019 power follower amp on audiodesignguide.com

No I did not scan the book. I just read few pages it covered the basics. Nothing you write home about.

I missed the days when you could buy electronics books for couple of $. from Sams and grensback. Those were the days!

Volume 3 is supposed to arrive Monday.

Well, I did a quick look at that volume 3 contents and was very impressed. Can imagine that you want to have it, but
more than 65 euros to pay for just a paperback version that it quite a lot of money.
Looked for a hard cover version but good not detect that on the internet.
Please share with us your impression of the book the moment you have received your copy.

Volume 3 arrived today and it is PACKED with lots of information. Lots of designs you dont see every day. I have just skimmed it but I was impressed. granted that may not take alot. But its got a ton of info in it. Lots of designs of all types. It breaks input sections and output sections apart and deals with them severalty and together. If I had a way to scan it I would.

Why should you? The author has taken a lot of energy to put all that/his knowledge into that volume. Let him earn the money.
But people may have other considerations of course.
