A brand new pair of Eton 8-470 32 HEX woofers.
Obviously, some kind of early version of 8-472.
Attractive "natural yellow" cones, $250 for the pair OBO.

Have to be patient to sell these, even on ebay.
These are mainly replacement drivers.

A new or new looking pair of Eton 8-472 just sold on ebay for $96 and the guy had to pay fees.
So $250 for antiquated drivers is rather rich.

But, it's crazy the prices people get on here.
I just saw a pair of used woofers, one with a cracked frame 😱 will sell for $450 on a different audio forum.
I bought the same woofers a few months ago, brand new in box, on ebay for $250 shipped.

Yeah well, one thing is when you need something, and prepared to pay whatever for it.
The other thing is when you don't need something, and not sure if you are prepared to let it go.
Ebay is an almost perfect way to determine the actual market value of anything at any given moment - if there were people prepared to pay $96 for a pair of Eton woofers, that's exactly how much they sold for. I may sell these for $96 if someone were to offer me that much, but nobody did so far....

New old stock discontinued quality woofers sell for very good money due to their rarity, as you know. But you have to find some one with money that needs them.
Sell them on ebay internationally.
Good chance some one will buy them in Europe.
Some people have more money than time, to peruse audio forums.
Not me though 😀 lol
Actually, I spend the most of my time on saabcentral.net 😉

Do these have the plastic-composite frames?
