I'm about to start my first diy amp project and have picked up a couple of esp 101 boards, as well as an esp 39 soft start, and esp 33 speaker protection. I am having a bit of trouble determining what relays I should use for the p33. I plan on using a 40v-0-40v 800va transformer as a power source, and was curious if these relays in series would suffice?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

From memory, don't the relays need to switch the signal to ground if protection is activated? If so, where is the other pin?
No, they're not suitable. As said by Tromperie, you need spdt relays to connect the speakers to gnd in case of failure.
Have a look at the Omron G2R serie. With 55V rail, you migh consider 24V relays. Or follow ESP's advice and use 4 12V relays, with two in serie per speaker. The DC rating falls down very quickly above 30V. But that probably wouldn't fit on your pcb.
Doesn't the pcb come with a bill of materials ? Have you sent an email to ESP ?
