Fully assembled and tested ES9023 DAC available for sale. The DAC has SPDIF and USB input. The SPDIF signal receiver is WM8805 and USB receiver is PCM2707. The DAC also has provision for I2S signal input. The dac works on 5v regulated power supply or 4xAA Sanyo Eneloop 2000 mAh rechargeable batteries. The fully assembled DAC will come with aluminium case and 5V switching power supply. The cost of the DAC with power supply is $120 + $15 shipping. Anyone interested can pm with paypal email id. Assembled ES9023 dac sold out. I can take pre-orders for the assembled dac if someone interested or i can sell the bare board with es9023 soldered and one hcmos crystal unsoldered. Buyers can use this crystal or can use ultra phase noise crystal. Buyers will get full bom and component layout plan. No schematic will be given out. The dac can be easily completed using the provided component layout plan. This is fully tested design and gives out rocking performance for the price and size. The dac board size is about 11 cm (l) x 6 cm (b) x 2.4 cm (h) . The es9023 dac board+es9023 chip+ hcmos crystal is $38+$10 shipping.
Kindly read "ultra phase noise crystal" in the above passage as "ultra low phase noise crystal". Its a typing error. All components are easily available from digikey, mouser and ebay. The standard free crystal will be given as soldered on the board or unsoldered depending upon the buyers wish. The dac board has auto source selection and spdif signal locking, usb and power on status will be indicated by the LEDs.
