OK i figured out that pins 2 and 3 need to BE jumped in order to make PJ come on correctly and bypass the ballast. I took ballast completely out and tested all of them. I finally got a picture. Now heres what doesnt make sense. If i power on the PJ and then connect the jumper/resistor to the pins it works! So i solder it on correctly and now it gives me replace lamp code. I try it again and same thing. I have some how figured out that if power is lost like unplugging it with jumper already in place prior to powering up it throws the error code. If i power up first and then place jumper it works fine! Im soooooo confused. How can it not work if jumped before power up, but works if power up first and then jump it? Pls SOMEONE HEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!!
yet another thing. If i start it up first and then connect the jumper it comes on fine. Then to turn it off, I hit power once and it asks to hit power again to turn off, counts down for lamp cool down and then instead of turning off it gives me the lamp code again and stays on..... This is so weird 😕
