Hello everybody, i'm building a 2.1 portable audio system. I have 2 Visatons R 10 S at home and want to build them in a small enclosure ( one liter at max ). I want them to go to 150hz. With that small enclosure it will not going that low but i tought maybe with a bassreflex design it will( i also use a tweeter so the range is 150hz to 3000hz)

Can someone help me, i don't have a computer at home ( live on my own sinds a few monds ). On my phone i found a few apps but it won't let me calculate the bassreflex design. If someone would help it would be awesome.

Greets!

With a Qts = ~2.0, there's no bandwidth [BW] to load, i.e. its upper mass corner is 2*Fs/Qts = 160 Hz = Fs, so ideally would be mounted on a small flat baffle ~10" in diameter or a square or rectangular one of the same area and offset from the center somewhat. That, or load it with a relatively huge, stuffed TL to damp down its high Q peak at Fs somewhat.

I just tried modelling the R10S 4ohm version in WinISD. QTS for that is a mere 1.5. It looks a complete mess. Either vented or sealed, it wants a lot of enclosure volume or to run "open"?!? I dunno.

If you can get them, the Fountek FE87 might work in 1L sealed.
