Actually, probably my favorite driver of 3 we tried in the Brynns - certainly a different tonal balance & soundstage presentation than the FE127E for FF125K

"darker" is not quite the best description of comparison to upper mids/top, nor "laid-back" to the depth of presentation compared to the Fostexes (Fosti?), but those terms are as good as any I can think of
