Hi I am new to this site. I have been currently checking amplifiers out lately. I have narrowed my choices down to 2 different amps. I started out with a goal of a pretty good sounding 2 channel amp. It had to be under $250. So this is what I came up with. The Emotive mini-X a-100 and the Dayton audio APA150.mini-X a-100 | 50W x 2 | Emotiva Audio | High-end audio components for audiophiles and videophiles, spanning 2-channel music systems, as well as 5.1 and 7.1 home theaters. Products include multichannel amplifiers, stereo amplifiers, and monoblock amp and Dayton Audio APA150 150W Power Amplifier 300-812 i desperately need to know soon! Please let me know what you guys thing or other amps that you recommend that sound pretty good thanks!

This is a Do It Yourself forum. You might get better results asking on another forum. Try HT Guide, a lot of folks there seem to be happy with Emotiva products. Dayton drivers are good values, but I haven't heard much about their amps (folks here seem happy with their plate amps, but that's a bit different than full range). At this price point, I doubt that there will be much sonic difference, though. Your speakers will have more impact as long as you aren't trying to get really loud.
