Just bought these Eltax tower speakers brand new in the box.(Old Stock) But no sound from the subwoofer.Anyone know about these Eltax speakers with built in powered subwoofers?
I'll add the information that the integrated side-mounted subwoofer is driven by a built-in amplifier of a claimed 175 Watt RMS.
Starting with the obvious - have you checked that mains power is reaching the built-in amp? Check all fuses in the power line for continuity and all fuse holders for oxidation.

Oh! I've just noticed the sub-woofer input on the rear panel!
Have you connected that up to the 'sub out' or subwoofer' output on your main stereo amplifier?

Sorry, S63, I don't know about these speakers.
I would have guessed a connecting cable problem or a sub out problem with your source amp, as it's unlikely that both Eltax speakers would be faulty.

Sadly no.So as,As Is Basis. The warranty is useless as I can't seem to find where the agent is anymore. Eltax Denmark is not responding to queries either.
