I'm currently trying to repair an Electroharmonix Bass Microsynth that was unearthed from a dusty corner of a rehearsal room. I've got life out of it in terms of power and replaced/rewired all the broken and brittle connections inside. But I still don't get any response out of it either bypassed or engaged. I'm starting at the beginning and the output of the power supply seems a little off.
It's a discrete voltage regulator and seems to match this scheatic

The positive voltage is around 7.9v and and the negative around -9v. This is a little off from what I'm expecting but is it enough to cause the problems.
If anyone can shed any light on this circuit or point me somewhere else in the schematic to continue my investigation

Never mind, I was getting hung up on things again. Decided to leave be and have another go through every junction and joint and replaced all the off board wiring that was getting very brittle and we now have life.
