Im picking up an Eclipse DA7232 amp which I believe is using two 1000A Icepower modules from Bang & Olufsen. Not much around about these, but the modules appear to be available to buy online.
Anybody have any experience with this type of design? Im not even sure what may be wrong with the amp, just checking here first before I take possession. Im looking to make a match with an eclipse 4-channel amp i have.
Thank you

OK I took ownership of this monster.
After review, I found that only one of the B&O ICEpower 1000A modules have failed. The surviving module is working for for either channel when swapped.
On the failed module, I've found PSNM035-150P and a second FET I cannot read because its sandwiched behind a large choke; shorted across most legs.
I'm debating servicing this failed module... or I could buy a new module for about $140.

Im fairly certain this one module can be repaired.
1x MP930-5.0
4x PSNM035-150P
2x IR2110S
4x AG (BCX52-10)
However, I was able to score 2 brand new 1000A modules off of a forum member for about $60each. Need to wait for shipping though. Not too bad.

This amp has 4 separate PSs and looks to be designed to create only positive rail voltage. That said, Rail voltage is about +70vDC.
Referencing B-, amp has ~35vDC on speaker terminal. The negative rail is connected straight to B-.
The 1000A modules are spec'd to work up to 150v rail. Does it sound like this amp may not be producing enough rail voltage? The PS is not damaged.
On the audio side, there is an additional transformer running off a single BUZ11 FET (Which runs RAGING hot, but is synced) Regulated voltage appears to be +-20vDC referencing RCA shields.

Yes I did, by replacing both modules. I did both because the new ones I bought were a higher revision than the original.
I’ve seen a few of these style amps since. The buzz11 fet which runs the regulated power supply almost always runs raging hot in these amps. I’ve had good luck replacing it with irf540 and then running extension wires allowing me to sync that one fet to the main heat sync, insulated of course.
I might be convinced to sell you my spare good ice module.
