IT'S JUNK. IT DOES NOT WORK. TELL YOUR FRIEND TO SAVE HIS MONEY, AND THEN SAVE UP TO BUILD A PROJECTOR. IF HE IS AMBITIOUS ENOUGH HE CAN PUT ONE TOGETHER FOR AS LOW AS $150.....I'VE SEEN IT DONE. IT WON'T BE AS GOOD AS A DIY ONE AT $300-$500 BUT IT WILL STILL BE LIGHTYEARS BETTER THAN THE CARDBOARD TV CRAP THEY ARE SELLING ON EBAY!!!

Sorry for typin all caps, but I felt like I had to shout.

hmmm..well wehn you see those ads on ebay it simply means that seller is out for the money nothing more nothing less, and you know what ..IT WORKS! these guys are getting rich off noobies money..lol

also IT DOES WORK!! but not the ones on ebay they just sell(free) plans...you WILL get a projected image and it will be comparable to that liquid stuff that droops from a k-9 @ss 🙂

if you want to make it a decent image i belive it CAN be done but with MUCH work...completely not worth it...
my 2 cents 🙂

You're right ND.

Maybe I should'nt have said that it does not work. I suppose what "works" depends on how that particular individual defines it.

In short, if you're going to use the Fresnel-cardboard junk, then you should definitely know that the picture will not look like what is advertised. The pictures they use in the advertisements are from expensive projectors. Also the pictures have been doctored quite a bit as well to fool unsuspecting buyers.

ND is right on another account as well. They are making a fortune on this junk. I don't have a problem with companies selling information that can be found for free. The main reason it's done is because people want convenience and would rather buy the information they need all in one place rather than search for it, but when what's being sold is of poor quality I get very angry about it.
