I did a quick forum search for EAC and E.A.C. but didn't find anything exactly pertinent.
EAC still seems to be a good choice for a free ripper that checks for a perfect copy. Is there anything better (free or super cheap)?
Accuraterip seems to be working as I'm getting rips verified as correct compared to others.
There are tons of options under: EAC options, drive options and compression options. 😱
What are the best quality settings for EAC? I'm ripping to FLAC and I recall there being a few web pages with some "how to"s.
Thanks,
Jeff

Here's my truth. Don't worry about it. These days virtually all rippers copy perfect enough that other issues dominate your sound.
EAC can be a bit bewildering. I use Audiograbber and have never had a problem with pops, clicks etc.
