Hey,
I have a Dynaudio BM9s with the bash amp, it works fine, until it doesn't, within around 5-30minutes it switches itself off. I'm suspecting the mute / driver current limiting circuit, anyone have any ideas what to look for? I'm not suspecting the thermistor near power transistors, as it barely gets warm.
I'm suspecting the bash/indigo 650047 board which I think performs the speaker protection, and has a smt ic caked in epoxy.
I'd be happy if I could just bypass the mute/signal detect/protection and run the thing as a plain old amplifier, any suggestions how to achieve this would be good.
Thanks!
