Hi,
I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question (because of EMi and high freq...), but I dare asking.
Can there be a short (10-15cm) wire connection between an audio PWM controller (like TAS5508 or STA311) and PWM input amps (like TAS5634 or STA508) ?
Context:
I Look at more power than STA326, and it seems that it only comes in 2 packages: controller + power amp.
I need multi amp, so I wonder if a modular design is an option with 1 controller board and several amp boards.
I looked at respective datasheets and did not found the answer. Only warnings about EMI and high freqs...

Hi JMF11,
that should be possible. Even TI evaboards are modular.
TAS5548EVM A 96KHz PWM Modulator with integrated ASRC and Audio Processor Evaluation Module/Board (TAS5558/48) | TI.com
TAS5634EVM TAS5634 300W Stereo/600W Mono HD Digital Input, 58V Class-D Amplifier Power Stage Evaluation Module | TI.com
Read the eva board manuals what the say about the required connection
between boards.

Hello and thanks for the feedback. I had a similar answer from the TI staff on the TI community forum. Should be good for 10-15 cm.
At the moment, I balance between:
- keeping my current FDA path (STA326) open loop controller + PWM input amp,
- move to latest TI designs, like TPA/TAS3251, with a bit of feedback (closed loop)...
Fort controller + PWM input amps, I don't see so many efforts in improving those ranges of chips over the last years (TI / ST)...

Sony MHC V41D, tas5634 amplifier IC is faulty. But IC is not available here in the market. So any option to put analog amplifier circuit in MHC V41D?
