it didn't work... the gun wouldn't recieve signals... i was thinking that the screen probably wasn't bright enough...anyone tryed this?
I may be wrong but I heard that those things don't work on front projection..I think you need rear projection for it or like ..a normal telli 
ummm... it wont work on an LCD the gun IR seeks scanlines every so often, only works on TV ....maybe if you get a scanlin plugin or soemthing..
Light guns will not work on an LCD because of the way it refreshes. Light guns need to see a certain set of pixels that are created when the trigger tells the game to flash the screen white which can only be produced with CRT displays. It's the same reason we can't have stereoscopic 3D IMAX movies with LCD 🙁 .There are two other types of light gun technologies that aren't available for home use, only arcades. One of them uses a camera to detect where the gun is pointed on the screen. The other type uses a series of LED sense boards around the screen. These two additions to light gun technology might work with LCD, but I've never really tinkered with those because it's an arm and a leg to replace if I break something.
