DS430 Diode Sub?

I couldn't find anything on it either but that's the name the AU-5500 IMG_20211219_230052.jpgIMG_20211219_230135.jpgservice manual had for this diode? It's those green and black roundish blobs on vintage Sansui's.

Might get better attention of you put "green and black blob diode" in the thread title, as you can't be the first one to come across these. If there is a schematic it shouldn't be too hard to come up with a replacement part.

I've no idea without seeing a circuit and what they do. Just wondering whether they could be some form of double or triple diode or perhaps a Zener.
Now that my memory has been jogged I can remember replacing these DS-430 diodes with 1N4148 diodes in the Sansui AU-series amplifiers that I have rebuilt, if you look at an AU-11000 service manual you will see these diodes on the F-2580 driver board in the DC offset circuits. The Sansui AU-5500 I'm working on now has this DS-430 diode in the protection circuit and/or the turn-on delay circuit? I have already replaced the SV-02 diode with 2 x 1N4148 diodes, I suppose I was borked by having 3 x 1N4148 diodes in a row? But you are right Mooly, that's what it is, a triple diode! It doesn't cost anything to ask a question but it cost a lot sometimes (in magic smoke) if you don't ask, for fear of ridicule. Thanks, Mooly, your boundless knowledge on these things is always appreciated. Happy New Year and all that gear!
