Drive belts

Hi,

Does anyone know of a supplier that will make a flat drive belt to my specified length?

I live in Oz but I can always order one from overseas.

If you disclose the length you require and width, I am sure someone will know where there is one.
Philex will manufacture if you require a few thousand.

I am building my own setup and I will need one at a customer length.

Someone also has suggested that I might be able to use fishing line?

By googleing turntable belts australia and tape deck belts australia, I found many options.

belts are made in increments, and while not as common as they were 20 years ago, there are still places that sell many sizes.

I will need a belt that is approximately 1200mm long. It needs to go around the platter and the separate motor drive spindle.

I expect i will need to get this made especially.

Why would you not simply buy a readily available belt ?
Then shift the Motor the 1 or 2 mm required to fit it ??

I would be happy to buy a ready made belt of approximately 1200mm long but I don't know where I can buy one from.
