On the ‘Box’ tab the program gives projected box volume. Do I need to make the box bigger than given figure to account for driver and ports volumes? Basically WinISD_vol + driver_vol + ports_vol = total_box_vol?
Yes, the box volume in WinISD (and most other modelling programs) is the net volume only, so everything else still needs to be added in before you can start to calculate the external dimensions. Depending on your design you may also need to account for bracing & handles as well as the port & driver that you already mentioned.
Thank you. I got confused by the fact that WinISD takes physical dimensions of the driver as well in params, but yeah it makes it less confusing if these needs to be added manually on top.
Eminence and B&C still publish the driver's physical displacement on many of their drivers, though not all.
Others manufacturers do too, though don't recall which .

Thanks! Maybe more then since I just look for [Vid], but see [now] that it's more spelled out in the mounting specs, which I 'tunnel vision' only ever look for mounting depth, so maybe whatever driver KK has is published.
I have Visaton W 130 X - 2 x 4 Ohm and it doesnt seem the manufacturer is bothered with Vid, but this is not a biggie
