On a similar note, I noticed that the Samsung SYNCMASTER 770 TFT
is going for under $200.00 these days. This is a 17" monitor that originally sold for over $1000, I wonder if it's useable for projection and if it's easy to strip.

OP is referring to smaller 7-8" lcd's such as:captainjack said:On a similar note, I noticed that the Samsung SYNCMASTER 770 TFT

A 17" can be incorporated into a larger enclosure but i have no idea what the FFC situation is on the 770 tft.
Looking at those pictures (I cant understand a single word on that forum 🙄 ) It looks like it cant be used without extentions???
Cut and paste this Google translator link to another browser window: http://216.239.37.104/translate_c?hl=en&u= and add the full URL after it.nick[x1] said:Looking at those pictures (I cant understand a single word on that forum 🙄 ) It looks like it cant be used without extentions???
The Hami requires one 20 pin, .5mm pitch, 6 inch extension and appropriate FFC edge connectors are present to make life much easier 😉
