Does anyone know anything about the Pacific Microsonics Model one?
I encountered some problems, I came across a Pacific Microsonics Model one at work friends bought online, which explained that the analog output was changed, and when I carefully checked it in my hand, I found that the DA board output is a single-ended signal, but the output buffer board input is a balanced signal, what I don't quite understand is, is the circuit incomplete or some other reason?

The module removed by the output board is handled by the previous hand. Stickers for sale have instructions.
Hi Purer, I hope you are doing OK?
I can say that a lot of parts are missing...
Lots of caps, discreet boards, transistors etc....
I can help you to sort out that if you want, if not already done...
I'm working on my DAC card too. It's faulty and it locks the Bootup menu to DSP#8.
My AD card is working perfectly...
Let's help each others if you want.

Hello!
I borrowed a good MODEL ONE machine, and after testing, I also found that my main board stopped moving even when it was loaded into DSP8. The DA board can work normally when placed on a good machine. There is nothing wrong with analog circuits now. It was purely a design issue at the time.
What's wrong with your current DA board?
I think the biggest problem with this machine is that the two E-MAILs who can provide technical support cannot be contacted.
You can describe the missing parts to me, and I can see if there is a corresponding model in the data I saved?
The reason my analog board picture has few parts is that I am going to repair it and its capacitors are all broken. The corrosive liquid destroyed the circuit boards. So remove the parts to clean it.
Nice to meet you.

On my board I have no missing parts all is in place. I juste have strange voltages on DA boards 3 pins output connected to the output board... ( like +3V and -21V...
I have also to remove all the caps, because I saw some leaks.
I'm going to contact you via email for some voltages checking, if you do not mind, thank you.
Let me tells you my story with this machine.
I have it since 1 year, it was working flawlessly. I was using the AD only, Cascade mode44. I never used the DA. I tried the DA and only one channel was working. It was the left channel XLR connector broken, I ordered one, replaced it. All was ok.
Then 3 days after, I lost le the DA clock, the system led turned from green to red. It does not matter as I'm only using the AD.
I turned the machine off, and when I booted it back, the screen, nothing was working, just the fan...
I unpluged the Output board with the output XLR, and the unit started to boot again, in AD mode like it does not care if that board was there or not.
The unit was working in AD mode the machine was booting correctly...Throughout all DSPs #, I was on AD cascade mode..
I tried to test the DA with the test mode into the machine and then went to DD to DD (digital to digital). the engine loaded the DSP and get stuck to DSP #8...so now at startup/boot the engine is stuck at DSP#8.
I think my Output board got a short cirtcuit somewhere and fried my DA board, at the moment... Maybe...
Like Is said I have strange voltages...
Talk soon.
hi
3-terminal output DC? Is it the DA board or the analog board, the capacitor on the analog board fails and leaks? Something I really hate. When I got my board, I found that it had burned through the circuit board.
But now it has been fixed. But I'm sick of seeing a burnt hole on the board and want someone to make a copy of the board and fix it.
If you have any questions, you can send me an email. I also have some questions and would like to ask you to take some pictures for me, because the machine I borrowed and the one I broke have the same problem. There is a pair of modules missing, and the output is balanced. (XLR) is actually single-ended (RCA)
thanks

Hi Purer,
Email sent.
So both of your units are working, they are just RCA instead of XLR, right?

hello
Yes. That's right. My output circuit for the DA board is as follows:
I think it should be wrong.
I guess the circuit should be like this.
If
you have time, sir, you can check it out for me. Is my guess correct?
Thank you...

Hi Purer, could you please send me the circuit of your pcm63 DAC, I bought the PCB in 2006. when i finish it , BUF03 was very hot, and now the LFP/IV is not work.
