DJ-Mixer directly into 2 DSPs or DJ Mixer into compact Mixer first?

Hello, what is the best way to connect a DJ-Mixer to a PA-System that uses 2 DSPs ?

I've been connection my gear as follows: DJ-Mixer -> Behringer Xenyx -> DSP -> speakers

Now I have the problem that I need to use 2 DSPs (a new 8 output dsp is coming, but its not coming in time)

I would do it as followed as I don't want the Behringer mixer in the chain because it doesn't have XLR outs:

DJ-Mixer -> XLR-y Split cable -> 2 DSPs. Can you do it like that? or should I buy something like the Allen Heath Zed6 to put in between the dj mixer and dsp.

I normally like the idea that I can control volume via an external mixer.
if I don't use an external mixer and plug the dj mixer right into the dsp I have no control over volume other than setting it so that when I max out the Mix1 Volume of the DJ mixer the pa is at max level. (DJ mixer is a xone92 btw)

Is it generally ok plugging a DJ mixer directly into the DSP? or should you use an external mixer like the Zed6 for gain and volume control in between the dj mixer and the dsp?

If you 100% trust the DJ's judgement throughout the show, then DJ mixer directly into the PA system is fine.

The rest of the time, put it through something with a level control so that the sound engineer can take care of the final levels.

I dont want to use one for the left and one for the right as theyre different dsps,
One t.racks DSP206 and a behringer dcx… i made presets for my active tops and already tried replicating them on the dcx but it didnt work so well. So i plan on using the dsp206 for tops and kicks, and the dcx for bass

Yeah replicating processing on a different DSP is never a simple task.
OK.. you're not using all the outputs on the DCX so you could setup 2 of them as fullrange pass throughs to link to the 206.

Haven‘t thought about that, do you think its affecting quality in any way? Like distortion or something when i send the signal through both dsps? I planned on using the dsp206 as dsp for the Tops and Kicks. So no Channel left here.
I dont reaaally trust the behringer much in terms of sound quality and im worried that the signal gets degraded when i send it all through the dcx first
