Is anyone familiar with this SMPS from DIYParadise, famous for their Charlize T-amps?

I am wondering if the quality would hold up well versus the Skynet 8080. The Skynet is difficult to obtain in the US, and the DIYParadise SMPS comes fully ready. It seems very flexible with many different voltage settings between 12V and 24V with a turn of a dial.
Super SP1224 appears on the on the device, but I can't find any information on it or find anyone that has reviewed the product versus the well regarded Skynet 8080.

Seems a bit expensive for only 2.5A. You can find 14v 4A laptop supplies for less than half that price on ebay.

What's so great about the Skynet? other than you can configure them for GCs. But who cares for class D.

There isn't anything special about it. There are countless supplies of equal or better quality out there. The above is a good example; 12v @ 11A for $10 and it looks well built.

the beauty of the Diyparadise unit is its plug and play as in set the voltage and plug it in. No chassis to build or connectors to wire up.
As to the current it supplies, well its sold for their (Diyparadise's) products. If you need more then of course you need look elsewhere.
