I'm looking for DIY monitor to complement my Harbeth p3esr, it cannot be much bigger than the harbeth since I have them at a desk, and it's for nerfield listening. I found the Seas Curv and the Eekels mini both from toels, but cannot find any sound description on them. Oh and it should be comparable in quality with the harbeth otherwise I wont use them.

Audioexcite has quite a few designs that might suit. As with Troels' designs, though, it's sometimes difficult to find comments on the sound.
I can think of a couple of older DIY designs that got lots of positive comment online - Dennis Murphy's CAOW1 (http://murphyblaster.com/content.php?f=CAOW1.html), and Zaph Audio's ZD5 (http://www.zaphaudio.com/ZD5.html).

I built these ERGO IX's and have been a huge fan...... F3 just above 50 Hz in a sealed enclosure. And marvelously accurate and musical w/ScanSpeak woofer and Morel tweeter. https://pinkfishmedia.net/forum/thr...-e-ix-mini-monitor-loudspeaker-system.112821/
If you like a ribbon tweeter try the Speedster, many happy builds. I have the ribbons myself and just ordered the Tangband W4 1720s.

Hard to find the driver now-a-days, but these stood up well against Rogers LS3/5a. (less coloured, more extended on the bottom, the same sort of vintage top end). The metal cone driver is more findable, doesn’t’t go quite as low but has a more prominent extended top-end. You will have to EnABL them yourself.
Probably a budget project compared to the other suggestions.

Haven't built the Speedsters yet - waiting for parts. It could be that Paul Carmody likes a lot of bass - he always seems to enthuse about the "big" sound of the bass. It might be too much for me too - I like discreet bass in its place, and in balance with the rest of the spectrum.
I'm gonna add two cents here re design philosophy. Ported vs sealed. especially for a small enclosure.
Ported will roll off sharper than sealed. Bass diminishes twice as fast at 24 dB/octave vs 12 dB per Octave.
I will assume the published ported designs referenced here are all designed correctly and will be built correctly as well. If not, then ported designs not done right can suffer a number of issues that don't sound good whereas as a sealed speaker with a volume in the correct optimum ballpark will sound very well controlled and actually more extended than their f3 might indicate compared to ported.
I've owned a number of small ported speakers in my day and sealed as well including the Ergos mentioned above (f3 of 53 Hz from 10 liters) , ADC L300 and KEF 101 to name a few. I just like the sound of sealed. A lot. I built subs to go with my Ergos. I don't use them and don't need them for 95% of the music. But if you want the lowest f3 from a given suitable driver, then ported is the way to do that and has its benefits. There is a reason ported seems to be the norm these days. But it's not for me. I'll take a good sealed design over ported every time.

That's actually an excellent option thank you. After a bit of research I'm actually trying to decide between those and the Revolution Loudspeaker kit by Jeff Bagby and Javad Shadzi. I agree. To my ears, sealed box speakers almost always have an advantage when it comes to bass impact, percieved transient response, and "punchiness". In my opinion, they have the advantage of a very natural sounding presentation of bass instruments such as double bass, baritone sax, bassoon, electric bass guitar..... whereas as a sealed speaker with a volume in the correct optimum ballpark will sound very well controlled and actually more extended than their f3 might indicate compared to ported.
The very best vented box designs can come very close to a sealed box. From what I have observed, the best sounding vented box designs have a very low tuning frequency, 35 Hz or lower.
Again, my opinion...
