Hello
Googleing and searching this forum didn't find a suitiable solution.
So I'm asking for advice: Is there a simple "passive" way to losslessly switch between two RCA-S/PDIF outputs into an input?
My guess: A simple good mechanical switch will do the trick? It's only 0 and 1 - Right?
If so, does anyone in Germany have a good source of supply?
Thank's and remain healthy

A 75 Ohm coax relay or a simple switch with short wiring come to mind.
However things can be done better by using an S/PDIF receiver like the quite good WM8805 (that has more than 1 input.....). Certainly if the device uses a less good jittery receiver this is an excellent upgrade that directly improves measured/sonical quality.
I like the "It's only 0 and 1 - Right?" 😀

Yes.
I will try a better rotary switch - bad experience with all those cheap chinese mini switches .

Not making a joke when I say: why don't you just unplug a connector from one source jack and plug it into the other one? You can probably just use RCA jacks. Feed each of the two sources into a 2-jack panel and plug the "selector" side into one jack or the other. It's probably good for thousands of changes at least. And parts are cheap. Very retro and DIY ish!
